National Training Conference 2008

The AACA TREV conference is an annual opportunity for Staff and students responsible for the delivery of Events, Recreation, Trips, Tours, Clubs and Societies, to gather together for the following purposes:

• Learning
• Information sharing
• Inspiration
• New Skills
• Ideas to stimulate debate and further thought
• Develop a rapport with Activities people on other campuses,
• To facilitate the running of AACA and TREV initiatives like the National Campus Band Competition and future conference planning
• Strategic planning for AACA and TREV
• Set meeting dates and venues for following year
• AGMs; elect new executives and initiative convenors
• Screening of finalists short films from the U Film Fest, an AACA Initiative
• AACA Awards – get national recognition for your campus.
The categories are:

1. Best T-shirt
2. Best Student diary
3. Best Poster
4. Activities related Web page. Print up to 4 pages (in colour if possible)
5. Best Campus Event
6. Miscellaneous

The annual conference provides and opportunity for refreshing, regrouping and coming away stimulated and inspired, ready to address the New Year.

The earlybird members registration fee is $780 (inclusive of twin share accommodation.) The program (subject to change) will include;
