Beginning in 1984, the National Campus Art Prize is the premier tertiary art competition in Australia to date.
NCAP is open to any student at a participating AACA campus with or without an art background.
The Art Prize attempts to draw out talents which may remain largely hidden otherwise and focuses on participation rather than elitism, so why not have a go?
NCAP is divided into three categories:
1. Painting / Works on paper / Printmaking
FIRST PRIZE: $250 cash sponsored by Art Spectrum
2. Photography / Photo-media / Electronic Art
FIRST PRIZE: $250 cash
3. Sculpture / Installation
Includes jewellery, ceramics and textiles
FIRST PRIZE: $250 cash
PLUS
Arthouse Direct People's Choice Award - as voted by people attending the exhibition
FIRST PRIZE: $500 cash
The NCAP will be run online this year with an all entries being displayed online (stay tuned for website) with the finalists,
chosen from the online entries, being displayed at the National Final in Melbourne.
